Born Again Timber
Blue Gum & Blackbutt logs recovered from Cherrybrook Uniting Church

Austimber reclaim "suburban" logs after storms or clearing for construction works and we utilize what would otherwise go to woodchip, garden mulch or firewood, into sustainable "reclaimed" timber products.

In May 2014 the Garangula Gallery (in Harden NSW) won "Best of State Commercial Design" in the 2014 Australian Interior Design Awards. A construction site in Northmead in Sydney's western suburbs was the source of 6 large 'tallowwood' trees to produce these fine 'reclaimed' timbers.

These same tallowwood trees were also used for QBE Insurance (Parramatta, NSW) and Victoria University Student LED Health Clinic (Werribee, Vic.).

Logs, just like the Blue Gum & Blackbutt ones recovered from Cherrybrook Uniting Church shown in the image, are sawn & kiln dried, then stored ready for processing by Austimber for 'award winning' timber products.

- Perhaps it should be called "Born Again Timber" !
